I am quite confused with so many security products on the marketplace. Any recommendation?

Hi, i am new to computer and and i think it is better for me to take an anti-spyare program before being infected. And i think i need some recommendations. Thank you.

Well the Spyware Cease shills are flooding the board.

Stay away from Spyware Cease. It is an Xoftspy-type program which will only scan for free, then SCARE you with a bazillion false positives that it won’t remove till you buy the program. You can’t find Spyware Cease at any *reputable* download source (majorgeeks.com, download.com, pcworld.com, etc).

NOW…. for malware removal, I use and recommend Superantispyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.
